Question by Laurie Buckley: Is the AppleCare Protection Plan worth it? How much can small repairs to Macbooks really cost?
Any horror stories out there about how much it costs to fix a Macbook? Is it worth it to get the AppleCare protection plan? I don’t anticipate any disasters happening to my MacBook, but for small things like a malfunctioning camera or cracked frame, what might the costs range?
(I have the white Macbook, purchased in August of 2008… so I need to decide if I want to hop on the bus & purchase AppleCare soon!)

They say it is but think about it — the mac is the best computer — if anything happens within 90 days you can take it back to the store and exchange after that Apple gives you a 1 yr warranty — my dads had his apple for 2 years and its still a beauty working well — hope that helps a little —-
